Try these in order
- Set every surface control to OFF.
- Look at the space under the cooktop. Anything that blocks air reaching the bottom should be moved. With no oven below, the cabinet doors can be opened to check.
- An operating oven should be switched off.
- Give the cooktop 5 minutes to cool, switch it on again and see whether it works normally.
